Ink on paper, 6x6", 2024
This diptych was a study in boredom and exactly how "spare time" can be filled with something creative and therapeautic.
Ink on paper, 6x6", 2024
I enjoyed this drawing a lot, and it benefitted me greatly by encouraging mindfulness and connection to my body.
Acrylic on canvas, 12 x 16, 2024
I did this painting to study the natural movement of choppy water. I had so much fun doing it, and I learned so much. This is my favorite piece that I did over the summer. I also liked working with an ovular canvas.
Acrylic pouring medium on canvas, 3x3, 2019
I did this piece when I was 13, and it is still one of my favorites. Using a medium like pouring forced me to slow down and to just enjoy the process rather than fixating on making it as perfect as possible. THis was also one of my first large scale pieces.
Graphite on paper, 6x9", 2024
This is a sketch I did in my personal sketchbook. I have always had a soft spot for graphite portraits, and I loved working with the various textures in her hair and clothes.
