The aim of this assignment was to create a collage using mainly words. my concept was to use letters to editors and literary magazines to create a sort of murder mystery, crime novel energy. I incorporated the silhouette of the woman to ground the piece and give the eye a spot to rest.

The objective of this assignment was to create an album cover using magazine clippings and paper. I wanted to create an album cover that encapsulated the way I feel when I listen to music - alive, energetic, and vibrant. I cut out a dancer and covered her in psychedelic patterned clippings to achieve this. This multi media piece utilizes radial perspective and central composition.

The aim of this assignment was to create a tesselation with perspective. I drew birds over a mountainous sunrise with the idea that they were in migration.

The goal of this assignment was to make a collage using unique textures to create a compelling image. I found a picture of a city with cigarette and sex service billboards and decided to lean into the concept of Hollywood being a modern day Sodom filled with sin and burning.

The goal of this piece was to create a compelling non-representational line abstraction. I took some inspiration from Egyptian hieroglyphics and the Ancient Grecian ideas of horror vacui. I balanced this piece by doing similar, but not identical, figures on each side, and reflecting them.
